Corrosion detection range

Stress corrosion test: constant deformation test, constant load test, slow strain rate test, fracture mechanics test, etc.

Hydrogen induced cracking test: In the petroleum and natural gas industry and petrochemical industry, if carbon steel or low-alloy steel is selected in the wet H2S environment, the steel plate will undergo severe embrittlement. The mechanism of this embrittlement is that H2S corrodes the steel surface to produce hydrogen, which is then absorbed by the steel, resulting in hydrogen embrittlement.

Intergranular corrosion test: intergranular corrosion of metal corrosion is a common form of local corrosion, corrosion from the beginning of the metal surface, along the grain boundaries to the grain internal development, makes the binding force of the intergranular greatly abate, reduces the material's strength, serious when can make the mechanical strength of the material completely, it is one of the very dangerous forms of local corrosion.

Salt spray corrosion test: (1) the alternating salt spray test is a comprehensive salt spray test, which is actually a neutral salt spray test and a constant humidity and heat test. (2) the neutral salt spray test (NSS test) is a kind of accelerated corrosion test method which appeared earlier and has been widely used at present. (3) the acetate spray test (ASS test) is developed on the basis of the neutral salt spray test. (4) copper salt accelerated acetate spray test (CASS test) is a newly developed salt spray corrosion test.

Gas corrosion test: gas corrosion tests are used to determine the suitability of products for operation and storage in the atmosphere, especially for contact and connection parts. The main factors affecting corrosion are temperature and humidity, atmospheric corrosive elements and so on.

General corrosion: corrosion occurs on the entire surface of a metal material, resulting in the overall thinning of the metal material. Also known as homogeneous corrosion or uniform corrosion.

Local corrosion: refers to the corrosion damage concentrated in the metal material surface of a specific local location, and most of the other areas of corrosion is very slight, or even no corrosion.

Simulated condition corrosion test: simulated condition corrosion test refers to simulating the actual use environment of materials in the laboratory, and evaluating the corrosion resistance of materials to the environment through the test of corrosion.

Pitting corrosion test: pitting corrosion is a kind of corrosion concentrated on the metal surface within tens of microns and developed to the depth of the form of corrosion, Stainless steel is prone to pitting in Cl containing environments.

Crevice corrosion: a localized form of corrosion occurring in the presence of an electrolyte solution in a narrow gap between metal and metal or between metal and nonmetal where the migration of the medium is blocked.

Hydrogen stripping test: hydrogen stripping test is to evaluate whether hydrogen stripping (HID) occurs in the hardfacing layer of stainless steel on the base material of the equipment under high temperature and high pressure conditions. Hydrogen stripping test parameters mainly include hydrogen pressure, insulation temperature, insulation time, cooling rate and cycle times.

Determination of dezincification corrosion resistance of brass: because of its good mechanical properties, technological properties, conductive and thermal properties and corrosion resistance, brass is widely used in the manufacture of mechanical equipment, such as copper tubes for heat exchangers, automobile water tanks, etc.
